Mental Performance Consultant

Kiera Wortley

My Approach

I work with athletes and teams to target the mental side of their game and unlock their full potential. My goal is to help you build off your strengths and face your challenges to help you unlock your next level.

About me

I am a (provisional) Mental Performance Consultant. Outside of consulting, I enjoy playing and coaching volleyball, and I am also a long-distance runner.

Individual Sessions

I offer individual sessions to work through any challenges you’ve been facing or to work towards any goals you set for yourself. Each session will look different depending on your priorities on that day.

Team Workshops

These sessions are fully tailored to the unique needs, challenges, strengths, and goals of your team. We can work on skills like communication and teamwork, recovering after a mistake, coming back from adversity, playing confidently, etc.

Walk & Talk Sessions

In these sessions, we will meet up at a park and have our session on the go. If you’re someone who doesn’t like virtual sessions or if you get distracted or restless when sitting and chatting, this could be a great option for you.

Therapy Sessions

Booking

Ready to go? Let's set up a time to chat and schedule our first session!

We can also schedule a 15-minute intro chat to help you decide if working with me is the right fit.

For team workshops, please send me an email so we can discuss the details and decide on a time and location.

What is Mental Performance Consulting?

If you haven’t worked with a Mental Performance Consultant (MPC) before, or don’t know what that means, no worries! As an MPC, my job is to help athletes and teams improve in competition and in training by building relevant mental skills. Sometimes this involves talking through the struggles you’ve been facing in regard to your performance. Maybe you notice that every time competition gets tight, you get nervous and have trouble performing at your best. Or maybe you’re feeling frustrated by a lull or regression in your progress lately. We can talk through any challenges you have been facing. Beyond those conversations, we can explore different tools that can help you overcome these hurdles and unlock your full potential. Although a lot of mental performance consulting is about working through challenges you’ve been facing or overcoming obstacles that are in your way, it is also about building off your existing strengths and refining the skills you have so that you can keep growing and improving as an athlete.
