About Me
My name is Kiera Wortley, and I am a (provisional) Mental Performance Consultant. I am excited to meet you and learn about your experiences within your sport and beyond. In December 2024 I completed my Master's in Human Kinetics with a concentration in Intervention and Consultation at UOttawa. Prior to that, I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors degree in psychology. I am now located in Winnipeg, MB. Outside of consulting, I enjoy playing and coaching volleyball, and I am also a long-distance runner. I became an MPC because I love working with athletes and supporting them in their athletic careers. A bonus is getting to learn about new sports that I wasn't previously familiar with!
Who do I work with?
I work with athletes, teams, and coaches from any sport. I have experience in a range of sports including volleyball (indoor and beach), ringette, hockey, and speed skating. I work with athletes of various ages and competition levels in individual sessions and team workshops. Additionally, I work with coaches on their own mental performance, how they show up for their team, and how they can support the mental performance of their athletes.
